Accommodation

Participants are generally responsible for arranging and paying for their own accommodation. Due to high demand in Madrid during these weeks, we recommend booking as early as possible.

Recommended areas

Paseo del Prado and Barrio de las Letras

The most convenient option for participants wishing to stay within walking distance of the venue. The area also provides easy access to the Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofía museums.

Atocha

Particularly convenient for participants arriving by high-speed train or Cercanías. Many establishments are within walking distance of the Real Jardín Botánico.

Jerónimos and Retiro

A quieter area close to the venue and El Retiro Park. Accommodation is generally in the medium or upper price ranges.

Lavapiés and Antón Martín

These neighbourhoods offer a broad selection of hotels, hostels and apartments, often at more moderate prices. The venue can be reached on foot or via Metro Line 1.

Sol, Gran Vía and central Madrid

These areas offer the largest selection of accommodation, restaurants and visitor services. The venue is accessible by Metro, bus or on foot.
