The course is devoted to different aspects of physics of the EIC collider. The lectures are roughly split into two categories:
Theory:
- DIS and collinear physics (by E. Nocera)
- Physics of Transverse Momentum Distributions (TMDs) (by I. Scimemi)
- Physics of Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs) (by B. Pasquini)
- Low-x physics (by T.Lappi)
- Heavy flavor and jets (by K.Mattioli)
- Beyond the Standard Model (by M.Ubiali)
Experiment:
- Tracking (by F.Bossu)
- Calorimetry (by C.Camacho)
- PID (by M.Contalbrigo)
- Accelerator Physics (by D.Gamba)
- Physics generators and simulations with GEANT (by S.Fazio)
Additionally there will be semi-practical sessions which will be devoted to particular practical problems and suggest students to solve them with different tools. There will be following sessions:
- Machine learning (by P.Zurita)
- Monte-Carlo simulations (by S.Fazio)
- Hadron structure with ARTEMIDE (by A.Vladimirov)
