Getting to Madrid from the Airport (Barajas)
Metro
The metro line arrives to the airport (pink line 8). In order to access the metro you must have a card ("tarjeta" in Spanish, 2.5 euros) and charge it with the number of tickets that you like (there is a discount for purchase of 10 tickets). Metro to and from airport has an extra supplement of 3 euros.

Trains
Train connections arrive only to terminal T4. There is however a shuttle between all terminals in the airport free of charge.

Taxi
There is a fixed fare for taxi connecting Airport to Madrid central area of 30 euros. You can find indications for taxi in the airport.
Getting to the faculty of physics from Madrid.
Metro
The closest metro station is located at Ciudad Universitaria, at about 10 minutes walk from the Faculty on line 6 (Grey line). The grey line is circular and it connects with other lines in the stations e.g. of Moncloa or Arguelles.
Bus
From the metro station of Ciudad Universitaria and Moncloa there are buses that stop just in front of the faculty (we recommend number G, because it is the fastest; then number 82 works too). The name of the stop is "Paraninfo Matemáticas" and it is usually announced in the bus. The bus 132 leaves from Moncloa station and stops at Jardin Botánico, between Ciudad Universitaria and Paraninfo Matematicas, at about 3-4 minutes walking from the faculty.
Taxi
A run from a hotel in Madrid center to the faculty has a cost of about 10 euros. There are many national and international companies and booking is recommended.
