IPARCOS CAMP 2025: PhD students team-building at IPARCOS
This May 28-30, we are organizing a meeting aimed at the PhD students of the IPARCOS research institute. We will be convening 3 days at El Escorial, a village next the northern mountains of Madrid, to share our scientific work with the other members of the students, with the intention of creating more synergies among the different groups of the Institute.
In addition, we will have social activities and the meetings will be held in general in casual and non-formal way. We will have some indoor meetings in addition to some light excursion. The town center is not far away and free spare time will be given in the evenings.
The Institute will be providing lodging for the event, which will be held at Casa de Ejercicios San José, Avd. Reyes Católicos Nº 12, El Escorial. We will be providing shared double and triple rooms. Our indoor social and scientific activities will be held therein, at Casa de Ejercicios San José. The event venue is easily accessible by public transportation or private vehicle. See "Venue and accommodation" for further details.
Finally, we will not be charging any fee. IPARCOS will fully cover the lodging and meals.
The meeting is aimed at IPARCOS PhD students, although some slots might be available for other categories depending on availability. We have booked 25 places for the meeting. Additional people will be added to the waiting list (we will try to negotiate extra rooms if possible, though this is not guaranteed).
